COP27 closed with a breakthrough agreement to provide loss and damage funding for vulnerable countries hit hard by floods, droughts, and other climate disasters. But how can we make sure that women, the elderly, youth, and other marginalized groups benefit from such funding? The African Women’s Development and Communication Network – FEMNET (FEMNET), the International Food Policy Research Institute’s Gender, Climate and Nutrition Integration Initiative and other partners will present institutions, tools and actions that are needed to ensure that support reaches the most vulnerable populations.
