Don’t forget the people (Daily News)

June 21, 2021

Daily News (Sri Lanka) published an article about new research that is part of a special edition of Ecological Restoration titled “Restoration by Whom, for Whom,” published in June 2021. The research includes work on farmer-managed natural regeneration in Ghana, on-farm experiments and payments for ecosystem services in Kenya, a government-led tree planting initiative in Vietnam, and the use of an adapted Restoration Opportunities Assessment Methodology in India. The remaining papers provide perspectives on multi-stakeholder engagement and restoration approaches that offer entry points for inclusive restoration.
