Programs and Networks facilitated by IFPRI
- AflaControl
The purpose of the AflaControl project is to provide empirical evidence of the cost-effectiveness of developing-country technologies currently used to reduce the risk of human and animal exposure to aflatoxin contamination and to understand what is preventing these technologies from being adopted as control strategies along maize and groundnut value chains in Africa. - Agriculture and Health Research Platform (AHRP)
The goal of AHRP is to promote and coordinate research on the two-way linkages between agriculture and health, with the aim of alleviating livelihood and food insecurity through enhanced policy and program effectiveness. - Program for Biosafety Systems (PBS)
PBS supports partner countries in Africa and Asia in the responsible development and safe use of agricultural biotechnology, addressing biosafety through an integrated program of research, capacity development, and outreach. - RENEWAL - Regional Network on AIDS, Livelihoods and Food Security
RENEWAL is a growing regional "network-of-networks" in sub-Saharan Africa that aims to enhance understanding of the worsening interactions between HIV/AIDS and food and nutrition security, and facilitate a comprehensive response to these interactions.
